(She/Her)
Hi, I’m Lesli Richardson, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’ve always believed that life’s challenges—no matter how tough—can be a brand new starting point in life! Like many of you, I’ve walked through some difficult seasons: navigating complicated relationships, parenting difficulties, losing loved ones, and facing family mental health struggles. Those experiences taught me the importance of having someone who truly listens, understands, and helps you find your way forward.
That’s why I’m passionate about providing a safe, non-judgmental space for you to share your story. Whether you’re looking to heal, strengthen your relationships, or discover new ways to thrive, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
My Why
Life can be complicated, and none of us are meant to go through it alone. My goal is to walk alongside you, offering support, encouragement, and the tools you need to create positive change.

Life
Experience
I grew up on the east side of the state, but have lived in the Grand Rapids area for most of my life. Everyone can go through significant challenges, but the key is: learning to acknowledge and process our emotions, build resilience, connect with others, and find meaning and purpose in ourselves by discovering hope and focusing on what we can control.
I believe, the goal of counseling is to help a person accomplish wellness, provide empowerment and maximize their potential in their life. Most of the problems people develop are really normal struggles. It’s important that as a team, we work together, on an early intervention system to help identify problems and create independent thought patterns for the future. Many clients only need transitional help through a situational period of time. It’s important to understand that searching out help, is actually a healthy response to life’s ups and downs. Finding the right personality fit in a counselor is really important, so don’t rush it!

Your challenges are unique, and so is the care you deserve. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, healing from past pain, or seeking support in your relationships, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll work on the issues that matter most to you.
